The girls game is based upon ball movement and positioning. The players wear minimal protective equipment (eye guards and mouthpieces).  The goalie is in full gear including a helmet.

The Girls program participates in the Mass Bay Girls Youth Lacrosse League (MBGLL) in an eight game season on Sundays afternoons starting on April 11th. There is a tremendous amount of information the MBGLL website (http://www.mbgll.org/) concerning the game and the league. Our schedules will be posted there. This is a travel program and we play teams all over southeastern Massachusetts.

Indoor skills building sessions will start in January at the Lakeville Athletic Club on Sundays until March. Depending on the weather, outdoor practices will begin sometime in March.

All Lakers Youth Lacrosse coaches ascribe to the Positive Coaching Alliance, a mandatory coaching clinic that creates a fun environment, encourages players to "do their best." Midweek practices will be scheduled at the discretion of the coaches.

The eight game season will be played on Sundays from early April through Mid June ending in a jamboree held the weekend after the regular season ends in Newton
