Learn to Play Program
Boys and Girls Ages 4-5-6
The program is designed to introduce younger players to the great game of lacrosse through skill building drills masquerading as fun games. Players will learn the fundamentals of catching, throwing, cradling, and shooting in a highly interactive, family friendly environment.
Each session will include playing intrasquad games. The only requirement is a stick and an interest to have fun. Parental involvement is highly encouraged!!!
The program is held on Tuesday evenings at Assawompsett Elementary in Lakeville from late April through Mid-June.
All players will need a pair of comfortable shoes or cleats and a Junior Lacrosse Stick (Please NO 'fiddle sticks' or toy sticks). Below are suggested models (the sticks featured are available from Dick's Sporting Goods for less than $25):
